Centro Alberto Manzi was established in 2008 by the will of the Legislative Assembly of the Emilia-Romagna Region with the aim of collect all the archival material that belonged to or was created by Alberto Manzi and to promote cultural initiatives, research and training, aimed at teachers, educators, cultural operators.
Alberto Manzi was a the elementary school teacher and conductor of the famous TV program Non è mai troppo tardi that during the 60s taught millions of Italians to read and write.
The head of the activities is Alessandra Falconi, founder of Zaffiria, a Rimini cooperative for which Cecilia has worked for a long time. Working on Zaffiria's projects, it was possible to propose a redesign of Centro Manzi website, which until 2019 had remained in its Adobe Flash version, a decayed technology that has not been supported in the last years.
The main challenge of this project was certainly to rearrange the large amount of documents available for download, and to make them easily accessible also through mobile devices.
