Dot to dot is a simple game of leisure, a widely known pastime and a permanent presence in puzzle publications, where the pattern of dots, once joined, leads to the creation of an image.
In common language, however, the ability to "connect the dots" also represents the ability to connect elements present in a given situation but not taken into consideration as a whole, with the intention of being able to draw conclusions.
It was therefore interesting to conceive the dot to dot game in relation to the theme of female shame.
This project was created for the second issue of Mulieris, a monothematic magazine that in its second publication has addressed the topic of shame from the different points of view of the artists involved.
Shame is a feeling of inadequacy that occurs when you feel (or fear) that you are failing by standards, which are often imposed by external expectations. Why do we hide sanitary pads? Or why do we feel uncomfortable if we haven't perfectly removed hair from certain areas of our body?
Once the four images have been completed, readers will realize that they have completed four statements that, even if "obvious" (depending on personal awareness), are good to repeat as many times as possible, to let them act on a deep level of our personal conscience and then on the collective one.

No need to regret was design to be the English version of the project, but unfortunately this illustration was not included in the publication at last. Not bad after all; it is now available for free to download.
Print it (if you can use a pink cardboard), complete it and hang it clearly visible!
